Usually with new startups, we’ll receive a call requesting pricing on a logo. Most of the time with these calls the client really is asking, “how much does developing a corporate identity cost”? This is because, once a logo is finished, the next logical need they have is to design their consumables -- business cards, letterhead, #10 envelopes and fax sheet. These basic items (in most cases) are essential tools to put your best foot forward. It’s been our experience with startup companies, that several clients tend to think this requires a large budget. Which of course...with all the other startup costs they have...tend to think that it’s cost prohibitive and is set aside.
